The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track (open rank) position in our Management and Organizations Area, intended for placement in the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, with start date of July 2018. Applicants with research and teaching interests related to organizational behavior will be considered. Responsibilities of the positions include research in area(s) of expertise, teaching basic and advanced courses in management at the BS, MPS, MBA, EMBA and/or Ph.D. levels, supervision of doctoral candidates, and service to the Area, School, and College. All levels will be considered, but the ideal candidate will have demonstrated evidence of success in teaching at the MBA level.

The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on July 1, 2016) combines three Schools. The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the School of Hotel Administration (Hotel School). Faculty members in the Management and Organizations Area conduct research on diverse topics using a variety of research methods. This faculty position is based in Ithaca, NY. Most teaching will take place at the Ithaca campus, with the potential for some teaching at the Cornell Tech or Weill Cornell Medical College campuses in New York City, or the Executive MBA campus in Palisades, NY.

Note that applicants must have a Ph.D. in an appropriate field or be close to completion for consideration. Also, doctoral candidates and those who have graduated in the last two years must also provide letters of recommendation from their references.
