Position Description:    

The Department of Political Science at Duke University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in the field of Security, Peace, and Conflict to begin July 1, 2018. The search is not restricted to any particular topics within security, peace, and conflict. We are seeking candidates with expertise in the areas of domestic conflict/security, international security/conflict, and/or non-traditional security concerns, such as international migration, crime, human rights, and the environment. Candidates should have potential for excellence in teaching and research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Successful candidates will be expected to have completed the Ph.D. no later than July 1, 2018.
