W.R. Huff Professor of the Practice

The Economics Department at Duke seeks applicants for the W.R. Huff Professor of the Practice. This is a non-tenure track regular-rank faculty position, to begin July 1, 2018. This position is expected to teach five undergraduate courses in finance each year. The applicant will also contribute to the Duke Financial Economics Center’s (“DFE”) work in providing extra-curricular training and development for undergraduates interested in careers in the financial markets. In this role, s/he will work closely with the DFE Executive Director and Teaching Director to collaborate on programs and advise students. Candidates should have a PhD in economics, finance or a related field and a strong teaching and research record. Candidates who additionally have significant work experience in the financial markets will be particularly suitable for this role.
