The Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (INPAC) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position to work on the ATLAS experiment at CERN as well as future collider R&D. The successful candidate is expected to make major contributions to ATLAS data analyses and also play a leading role in detector R&D and simulation studies.

The initial appointment is 2-3 years with possible extension or promotion based on mutual satisfaction. The successful candidate is expected to be based in Shanghai with a substantial fraction of time spent at CERN as well. The candidate should have received or are about to receive a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics or nuclear physics. SJTU provides competitive salary and stipends for postdoctoral researchers with local housing benefits.
