The Psychology Department [] at Brandeis University invites applications for a tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, with a specialization in Aging, to start August 2018. We seek an individual with an active human research program in any aspect of aging, including cognitive, social, clinical and health psychology. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of scholarly productivity, outstanding promise to contribute to undergraduate and graduate training programs, and the ability to secure external funding for a program of research. Candidates who use advanced quantitative or computational approaches are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will contribute to a vibrant research and graduate training department, including both PhD and MA programs. PhD students are fully supported, including through an NIH training grant on “Brain-Body-Behavior Interface in Learning and Development Across the Lifespan”. Opportunities for collaboration and affiliation exist across campus including centers and programs in Neuroscience and Health, Science, Society and Policy, and the Heller School for Social Policy and Management. Teaching duties will include undergraduate courses as well as advanced graduate-level seminars in the candidate’s area of expertise.
