Duke University Evolutionary Anthropology Instructor Position:

The Department of Evolutionary Anthropology at Duke University invites applications for a regular rank faculty member at the Lecturer level to begin in July of 2022 (renewable three-year contract).  The Lecturer will contribute to the department’s mission by teaching two courses each semester and participating in departmental and university service. Consideration will be given to applicants in all areas of Evolutionary Anthropology, with a particular focus on excellence in undergraduate teaching, including facilitating inclusiveness in the classroom. The applicant must be qualified to teach our introductory course, as well as a variety of intermediate-level courses across different areas within evolutionary anthropology. This is a teaching position with no expectation of research, and no direct research support will be provided.  Only candidates who have completed their Ph.D. by May 15, 2022 will be considered.
