The appointment is initially for two years with the possibility of a one year extension. The earliest possible starting date is October 1st 2022. Applicants should have successfully completed a university degree and hold a PhD in theoretical physics and preferably have previous research experience in topics aligned to the research interests of the group.

PRISMA+ hosts the Mainz Institute for Theoretical Physics (MITP) which provides unique opportunities for cross-disciplinary exchange between researchers from different fields of expertise in theoretical physics by holding a series of scientific programs and short topical workshops to attract leading international researchers.
