Applications are invited for a three-year postdoctoral research position in theoretical physics at the Kavli IPMU, the University of Tokyo.

The postdoctoral scholar will primarily work together with Prof. Masahito Yamazaki at the Kavli IPMU, and is expected to work on one or more of the following research areas: high energy theory, string theory, mathematical physics, condensed matter theory, and quantum computation. We welcome applications from researchers in diverse research areas.

The position is for three years, and the postdoctoral scholar will be provided with salary comparable to those at other prestigious institutions. The scholar will receive generous travel support and is encouraged to travel internationally, visit other institutions, and attend conferences, up to 3 months every year.
