Postdoctoral Research Associate

BIOS Laboratory, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Duke University

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate to join multiple projects. Research areas of interest are digital holography and quantitative phase imaging of cellular samples. Knowledge of coherent image formation is needed. Understanding of modal propagation in multimode fibers, low coherence depth gating and machine learning are also desirable. Additional responsibilities will include lab management and student mentoring. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, optics and photonics, physics or a related field. Compensation will be commensurate with NIH postdoctoral stipend levels.
