The ATLAS group at Northern Illinois University (NIU) seeks outstanding candidates for an opening as a post-doctoral Research Associate position to work on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. The successful candidate is expected to make major contributions to the new EF Tracking project for the HL-LHC and to help lead physics analyses in the diphoton final state, including, but not limited to, hh→yybb searches, tth(yy) analyses and diphoton + heavy flavor measurements. The candidate will be expected to supervise students.
The position will be based at CERN. Applications should be submitted with a curriculum vitae, at least three letters of reference, a list of publications with significant personal contributions and a statement of research interests.
The initial appointment will be for one year, and is renewable contingent upon mutual satisfaction and continuation of funding. Women and members of other underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged to apply. |
