Duke University Thompson Writing Program Adjunct Instructor Duke's Thompson Writing Program is a nationally recognized leader in teaching writing through theme-based seminars across the disciplines. We are seeking candidates with experience teaching and designing writing-based courses at the college level for an Adjunct position teaching first-year Academic Writing in Spring 2019.

Teaching load is varied, depending on staffing needs and candidate experience. Each section is limited to 12 students. This appointment is for one semester, non-renewable, at a level of Instructor (non-regular-rank), starting January 1, 2019. Compensation is competitive at a per course rate.
