The Music Department of Brandeis University seeks to hire a full-time musicologist at the rank of tenure-track Assistant or tenured Associate Professor beginning in academic year 2018/2019 specializing in either Renaissance/Early Modern or Long 19th Century. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching and evidence of scholarly achievement and should be prepared to design and teach courses that will broaden and diversify the undergraduate and graduate curriculum. Additional duties will include departmental and university service and active participation in the profession. Candidates must have a completed PhD at the time of application and a proven publication record.
