Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) provides the educational outreach functions for Cornell University’s role as New York State’s Land Grant University. Programmatically, Cornell Cooperative Extension connects the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Human Ecology (CHE) with more than 50 off-campus Associations, Integrated Pest Management, New York Sea Grant, Area Specialists, and CCE New York City. The Northwest New York Regional Dairy, Livestock, and Field Crops program of Cornell Cooperative Extension is the major regional extension program working with agricultural producers and agribusiness professionals in this region of New York State. This program will meet the needs of the field crops industry as related to the cash crop industry and integrated with the dairy industry across the 10 major agricultural counties in the region.
Provide commercial crop growers, producers, consultants and industry representatives with the knowledge and educational resources necessary to assess production and management practices that will enhance their profitability and sustain the growth of the dairy and field crops industry in Western New York. This position will be located within the Northwest New York Region (Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates Counties).

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) and will be located in Northwest New York. This is a three year appointment with possible extension depending on funding and performance.
