The Lukin group at Harvard University expects to appoint a research associate beginning January, 1 2021. The research associate should have extensive prior experience in experimental AMO physics, specifically laser spectroscopy, laser cooling, and quantum control. This position requires a doctoral degree in physics and at least 8 years of experience in experimental AMO physics, preferably in both academic and industrial settings. The successful candidates’ qualifications and contributions to their fields of research should be equivalent to those of a senior researcher scientist or assistant/associate research professor.
