The Program in Literature at Duke University invites applications for a postdoctoral associate in Media Theory for the 2022-2023 academic year (with the possibility for a one-year renewal). We welcome candidates with doctorates in all disciplines and who specialize in any aspect of Media Theory. The postdoctoral associate will assist in research activities of the Chair of the Program in Literature, in addition to pursuing their own scholarship and teaching. Applicants must have completed the PhD by August 2022 and be no more than 5 years past the PhD. Candidates should submit (electronically) a curriculum vitae, letter of application, a one-page course proposal, a writing sample (20 pages maximum), and 3 letters of reference.
