The nuclear theory group at McGill University has an opening for a researcher at the postdoctoral level, under the auspices of the JETSCAPE Collaboration. We are seeking a person with experience in a subset of the following topics: the theory of hadronic matter at high temperature and/or high density, QCD jets and hard processes, in-medium effects, transport and hydrodynamical modeling of relativistic heavy ion collisions. Experience in computational methods is a must.

The initial appointment is for a period of one year, starting September 2019 (or possibly earlier), and renewable for another year upon mutual agreement, budget permitting. The chosen candidate will be part of JETSCAPE ( an NSF-funded collaboration within the Software Infrastructure for Sustained Innovation Program.
