Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics, Pomona College
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Pomona College, the founding member of the Claremont Colleges, invites applications for full-time or part time one-year position at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2022. Candidates must have a strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts environment, and those with significant teaching experience are especially encouraged to apply. The position will involve both classroom and laboratory instruction in a total of five courses over two semesters. While research is not part of the job description, the department is enthusiastic to hear from candidates who are research active.
