Hoover Fellows Program The Hoover Institution at Stanford University seeks outstanding scholars for positions as a Hoover Fellow. The term of the appointment is five years and may be renewed. The position is located at the Hoover Institution, Stanford, CA The academic activities of the Hoover Institution generally fall into the areas of Economic Policy, Politics and Governance, and National Security. During their Fellowship period, Hoover Fellows should publish scholarly articles and books that have implications for public policy. Hoover Fellows are also expected to contribute to the intellectual life of the Hoover Institution. There are no teaching responsibilities associated with this position. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. Successful applicants will have a proven record of scholarly excellence and clear potential for further development. Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant field, including economics, history, international relations, national security, political science, and public policy, or expect to compete that degree by (September 1st, 2023).
