Position Overview:

This tenure track position has a strong background in aeroacoustics, specifically an expertise and experience in experimental aeroacoustics in external flows; teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; develops a robust research portfolio; contributes to scholarly publications; serves on department, college, and university committees; participates in appropriate professional organizations.

This position may be partially funded by Ohio State’s Discovery Themes, a significant faculty hiring investment in key thematic areas in which the university can build on its culture of academic collaboration to make a global impact. Thus, a strong potential to collaborate within the departments and across the university is desirable.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Required: Doctoral degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, or a field appropriate to the scope of the position.

Desired: Professional and/or teaching experience; broad professional abilities; record of scholarship, research, and/or professional practice commensurate with level of appointment; experience leading teams in and contributing to diverse learning environments.
