The William G. Lowrie Dept. of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering is a top-25 program located in a new, $125M, 225,000 square foot building, offering outstanding lab facilities and vast opportunities for collaborative research throughout Ohio State, one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive universities featuring a diverse group of the best and brightest. Position Overview

This position may be filled as an ASSOCIATE or FULL PROFESSOR - CANCER CLUSTER to become part of a synergistic group of closely collaborating engineering faculty and medical researchers in the top-rated, nationally-recognized Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (cancer.osu.edu).  

Developing novel approaches to targeted cancer detection, characterization, imaging, and treatment, with research emphasizing personalized medicine in diagnosis and treatment given priority. This is a senior, tenure-track, endowed position for a mid-career chemical engineer doing outstanding research in cancer.

  • Ability to develop and maintain an active program of teaching and research in chemical and biomolecular engineering.

Experience Requirements

Required:  Doctoral degree in appropriate discipline.  Experience working with and contributing to diverse learning environments.  The successful candidate will develop strong collaborations with faculty in medical-related disciplines.
