The Ohio State University invites applications for tenure track faculty positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, specifically solid state electronics with an emphasis in photovoltaics.

A successful faculty candidate is expected to have research experience in one of these general fields: solid state electronics, photovoltaic devices, electronic materials, solid state physics.   Interested areas include, but not limited to: optoelectronics, III-V devices and physics, wide bandgap materials and electronics, Oxide materials for electronic applications.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. and outstanding academic credentials. Successful candidates are expected to develop a vigorous externally funded research program, show excellence and leadership in academic and scholarly activities, and demonstrate outstanding teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
