The School of Physics and Astronomy at Monash University in Melbourne invites applications for a postdoctoral research position starting in 2023. The successful candidate is expected to engage in the activities of the Monash Particle Physics group, including the study of cosmological phase transitions and gravitational waves. The Monash particle phenomenology group includes five academics, C. Balazs, U. Egede, J. Nash, P. Skands, G. Valencia, a several post-doctoral fellows and numerous postgraduate students.

The initial appointment is for 2 years with possible renewal for a third year, with a salary of AUD 72,927 - 98,975 per year plus 9.5 % employer superannuation. Exceptional candidates will be nominated for the ARC DECRA funding scheme which, if successful, would carry an increased stipend and travel budget.
