Title: Postdoctoral associates in plant molecular biology in the Strader lab

We seek postdoctoral associates for work on understanding the role of the plant hormone auxin in plant development. Projects focus on a molecular understanding of the regulation of auxin signal transduction, auxin biosynthesis, and auxin transport in various contexts. We are looking for someone with experience in molecular biology, ideally with training in plant biology. An interest in conducting interdisciplinary research is a plus. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics or related fields and evidence of strong research productivity.

Postdocs will be responsible for: 1) conducting laboratory work, 2) data analysis, and 3) preparation of results for publication. Opportunities for collaboration with other labs is likely and postdocs will also be responsible for managing these collaborations.

Opportunities will be available for the postdoc to establish their own side projects related to the overall goals of larger project, as well as to collaborate on synthetic research involving additional laboratories.

Salary and benefits are commensurate with Duke University standards for postdoctoral associates.
