The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Mount Allison University invites applications for a three-year term appointment in Biochemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. The successful candidate will be expected to teach four undergraduate courses per year. The exact courses are subject to the needs of the Department. Courses taught would include a subset from: Introductory Biochemistry (BIOC 1001), Molecular Immunology (BIOC 3051, Signal Transduction (BIOC 4031), Molecular Analysis (BIOC 3031), Nucleic Acids (BIOC 3041), Current Advances in Biochemistry (BIOC 4903) and a course within the candidates area of expertise. Contributions to research and service are expected over the three-year term. The successful candidate will have access to university research facilities and be expected to apply for an NSERC Discovery Grant. Applicants can learn more about the Department at
