The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Mount Allison University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in Synthetic Inorganic Chemistry with applications to Organometallic or Materials Chemistry. The appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor and will commence on July 1, 2023, subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants must possess a PhD. and post-doctoral experience and must provide evidence of an ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary and student-centered environment. We particularly seek candidates with broad expertise, and those eager to contribute strong undergraduate teaching in inorganic chemistry, as well as physical or organic chemistry. The successful candidate is expected to launch an active and externally funded research program that integrates participation by undergraduate research students. Faculty have access to a range of internal and external funding opportunities.
