The particle theory groups at the University of Freiburg (Germany) invite applications for a postdoctoral position in theoretical particle physics. The appointment is for two years with a possible extension for a third year and should start preferably in October 2019. Particle theory in Freiburg currently comprises the workings groups of S.Dittmaier (mainly electroweak interaction), H.Ita (mainly strong interaction), and J.J.van der Bij (mainly physics beyond the SM).

Candidates should have a PhD in theoretical particle physics at the time of the appointment and exhibit experience in the fields of QCD, electroweak physics, Higgs physics, the calculation of radiative corrections, and/or physics beyond the Standard Model.
