GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY, Robinson College of Business, Institute of Health Administration

NON-TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITIONS IN HEALTH ADMINISTRATION

GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY invites applications for one or more non-tenure-track appointments effective for Fall 2023 in the Institute of Health Administration (IHA) at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business (RCB). Rank is open, but we expect to hire at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) or Clinical Associate Professor (non-tenure track). Clinical faculty in these ranks typically teach a 3-3 load. Salary is competitive. The successful candidate will teach, conduct independent and collaborative pedagogical and professional research, and contribute to service activities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a terminal degree from an accredited business, law school, or medical school, the capability to publish research in refereed pedagogical and/or professional journals, and demonstrate the potential to be an outstanding teacher. Significant professional experience, particularly in health administration, consulting, policy, or closely related areas, is also highly valued. While we welcome applications from candidates experienced in any area of business administration, we would be especially interested in applicants whose work and experience is related to healthcare operations, leadership, policy, analytics, IT, or closely related areas. While most of our classes are taught in person (or in hybrid formats), we encourage applications from individuals who have taught or are interested in teaching in other formats, including asynchronous classes.
