Postdoctoral positions in theory in biophysics, soft matter, statistical mechanics, complex systems and related research fields are available in the research group of Dr. Hong-Yan Shih in the Institute of Physics (http://www.phys.sinica.edu.tw), Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. The research group has a broad range of interests in non-equilibrium systems, including but not limited to active matters, population dynamics, evolutionary ecology, pattern formation, fluid dynamics and turbulence.

The appointment will be for two years, with possible extensions depending on funding availability. Oppourtunities of independent research fellowships in Academia Sinica are also available during the contract duration. Successful candidates are encouraged to collaborate and interact with other research groups in Taiwan or international institutes.
