The Questrom School of Business at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance. Pending Provost budgetary approval, the anticipated start date for this position is July 1, 2022.

We seek to add to our community of talented scholars who work in areas at the cutting edge of today’s research in corporate finance and risk management. We have a strong group of scholars with an interest in risk management and we seek to add a scholar with similar interests around corporate finance topics. Possible topics of interest are insurance-related research, banking, financial distress, etc.

Prospective candidates must demonstrate the ability to produce original and innovative scholarly work of the highest quality and should be able to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels. A Ph.D. degree in Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Statistics or other closely related area is required. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
