The Particle Physics Theory Groups at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Utah invite applications for one joint postdoctoral position to begin in September 2019. Areas of specialization include theoretical particle physics, particle astrophysics, and cosmology. We encourage the well motivated applicants who have recently received a Ph.D. degree or will obtain one before the next fall. The successful applicant is expected to work with Prof. Hong-Jian He (SJTU) and Prof. Yue Zhao (Utah). He or she is expected to spend roughly 50% of the time in each place. We offer competitive salary commensurate with qualifications (which is comparable to that of the regular postdocs in USA). The offer is for two years with renewal of a third year, contingent upon your satisfactory performance and the availability of continued funding.

Your complete application must include a CV, publication list, statement of research interests, and 3~5 reference letters. Complete applications received by Dec. 20, 2018, will be given top priority during the review process.

The University of Utah is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We are a VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
