Columbia Engineering is pleased to invite applications for a lecturer-in-discipline faculty position in the Department of Earth and Environmental Engineering at Columbia University in the City of New York. Lecturer-in Discipline is a non-tenure track full time faculty position focused on teaching. The successful candidate would work with faculty to develop and deliver a forefront curriculum for undergraduate and graduate level programs in Sustainable Engineering within Earth and Environmental Engineering. The interdisciplinary nature of our curriculum also attracts students from other majors and disciplines. The teaching responsibilities would include 4-6 courses and/or laboratories each academic year. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or its professional equivalent by the starting date of the appointment. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in their field, a passion for teaching and a commitment to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching and scholarship. .
