The Master’s Program in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University (Durham, NC) invites applications for a Non Regular Rank Adjunct Assistant Professor position. The Pratt School of Engineering is seeking a professor in the Master of Engineering Management degree.
Successful candidates will be expected to:
•Develop and oversee a world class interdisciplinary master’s program
•Teach 2-3 courses each year within the current curriculum
•Collaborate across department and school boundaries
•Develop and deliver applications oriented courses related to the current curriculum
•Connect and engage with industry partners regarding capstone projects, career opportunities, seminar discussions, and participation in an industrial advisory board
Ideal candidates would have relative industry experience in either an academic or corporate setting. They would also have a PhD or commensurate industry experience/expertise in a related discipline, such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or Business, as well as teaching/course development experience. This position is expected to be full time, but other levels of commitment may be considered.
