Postdoctoral Position in Nuclear Theory at the University of Houston
The Nuclear Theory Group at the University of Houston has a postdoctoral position available, starting in the fall of 2023. Our group’s main interests include QCD at finite temperature and density, relativistic heavy-ion collisions, equation of state for hot and dense strongly interacting matter, and lattice QCD at finite temperature. The appointment is for a two-year term with a potential extension to a third year. Faculty working in the area of interest are Claudia Ratti and Volodymyr Vovchenko. The group works in close contact with the experimental STAR and ALICE heavy-ion group at the University of Houston.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics prior to the start of employment.
