Addiction Medicine/Addiction Psychiatry Clinician Educator Faculty Line The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member to provide clinical care and teaching with a focus on addiction medicine/addiction psychiatry. Clinical care and teaching may be provided in outpatient settings and the inpatient consult service, with the relative balance of work to be mutually agreed upon depending on interest and need. Teaching will entail supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as optional opportunities to engage in didactic teaching and guest lectures. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with patients and trainees and thrives in a team-based environment. Many opportunities exist for teaching, quality improvement work, scholarly work, and research collaboration. Applicants must have a medical degree or equivalent degree, expertise in addiction medicine/addiction psychiatry, and possess or be fully eligible for a California medical license. Preference will be given to board-certified psychiatrists who are board-certified or board-eligible in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry.
