The Department of Mathematics of Rice University, located in Houston, Texas, invites applications for an anticipated Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position. Opportunity at the Associate or Full Professor level will also be considered.
Applicants for Assistant Professor should have extremely strong research potential. Applicants for Associate or Full Professor positions should have an outstanding track record of research. All applicants should provide evidence of success in teaching, and demonstrated ability in building diversity, equity and inclusiveness in the mathematical community. Required education is a PhD or PhD requirements fulfilled by November 1, 2021, in Mathematics or related field.
The position will entail teaching undergraduate and graduate classes and performing research in mathematics.
