Position Description
The Tsung-Dao Lee Institute in Shanghai, China invites applications for T. D. Lee Fellow in the areas of exotic quantum states and materials, quantum computation, quantum optics, atom optics and quantum metrology. We welcome highly promised and top-rated applicants in condensed matter physics, especially related to topological quantum physics.
T. D. Lee Fellow is a six-year appointment with an annual salary starting from 500K RMB, and an optional tenure-tracked faculty position offered through the co-sponsor Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Housing subsidization options are offered for the positions through SJTU.
A minimum of two years of postdoctoral research experience is required. Applicants should submit a CV, a brief research statement, a brief teaching statement, a list of publications and five recommendation letters.
Tsung-Dao Lee Institute (TDLI) was founded in November 2016, following the proposal of Professor Tsung-Dao Lee (Nobel Prize in Physics 1957), to promote fundamental science and to provide a platform for international scientific communications and collaborations. TDLI aims to become a world-leading research institute in Physics and Astronomy. Currently, the institute is developing frontier research programs in the fields of Quantum Science and Technology, Particle & Nuclear Physics, and Astronomy & Astrophysics.
