Bergelson Lab & Woldorff Lab

We are accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Associate in language development, focusing on the neural and cognitive underpinnings of word learning in infants who are blind, deaf with cochlear implants, and typically-developing. Studies will employ ERPs to investigate brain activations and mechanisms underlying the semantic and phonetic processing, as a function of age and sensory experience. Desirable candidates will have background in language and/or cognitive research, expertise in ERP methods with young children, and strong programming/analysis skills. This co-mentored position offers excellent opportunities for gaining extensive expertise in developmental/cognitive psychology, language science, and cognitive neuroscience.
