The High Energy Theory Group at the University of California, Santa Barbara (http://www.physics.ucsb.edu/research/hept) expects to appoint one or more Postdoctoral Scholars. We seek outstanding physicists with strong research records that synergize with the interests in our group, with a particular emphasis on particle phenomenology and physics beyond the Standard Model or quantum computing applications to quantum field theory and gravity.

Postdoctoral Scholars at UCSB benefit from an active research environment in the Physics Department, as well as the presence of the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics that runs programs in all areas of theoretical physics.

A degree at the PhD level, or equivalent, is required. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience in accordance with University of California policy.
