The University of Melbourne invites applicants for a continuing (i.e. tenure track) position at Australian academic Level B (Lecturer, equivalent to Assistant Professor) in theoretical particle physics, broadly defined. The position will be based in the School of Physics on the Parkville campus.

The successful applicant will join Prof. Nicole Bell, Assoc. Prof. Matthew Dolan and Prof. Raymond Volkas as tenured faculty in the Theoretical Particle Physics Research Group. The group’s research is focused on the phenomenology of physics beyond the Standard Model, including non-accelerator and collider phenomenology, model building, early universe cosmology, dark matter, and astroparticle physics. The applicant’s research interests should broadly align with and complement these areas.
