We invite applications for three postdoctoral positions in cosmology at the University of Geneva, starting in Fall 2023.

The first position is targeted to large-scale structure, tests of gravity, dark energy and dark matter. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Camille Bonvin.

The second position is to study and implement a quadratic estimator to extract the lensing magnification signal from large-scale structure surveys, and to apply it to galaxy survey data. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Martin Kunz.

The third position is targeted to Euclid and the use of galaxy clustering and weak lensing to test models beyond General Relativity. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Martin Kunz, Prof. Ruth Durrer and Prof. Camille Bonvin.

The positions are initially for two years. Applicants with experience in theoretical cosmology, numerical simulations, observational cosmology and data analysis are welcome to apply. Applicants should specify in their cover letter for which of the positions they want to be considered.

A completed, or near to completion, PhD in Physics, Cosmology, Astrophysics, Astronomy or a closely related area, is required. Postdocs are required to participate in academic activities such as teaching or the organisation of seminars.

Applications should be submitted via academicjobsonline by November 27 2022. Please submit a CV, publication list, statement of research interests and the names and email addresses of three referees, who will be contacted for letters of recommendation. Late applications may still be considered until the position is filled.

The Cosmology and Astroparticle physics group is strongly involved in galaxy clustering, weak gravitational lensing, dark energy, modified gravity, intensity mapping and gravitational waves, see http://cosmology.unige.ch/.
