The QCD group at Duke University anticipates an opening for a postdoctoral research associate beginning September 1, 2019 (subject to funding availability). Candidates should have a Ph.D. by the starting date and have expertise in an area relevant to the group's research program. Topics of interest include: perturbative QCD, Quark-Gluon-Plasma Phenomenology, Transport Theory of Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions and all areas of QCD with applications related to the Heavy-Ion program at RHIC and LHC. Candidates are explicitly asked to outline in their research statement how their research will fit with or complement the current research by the Duke QCD group led by Steffen A. Bass and Berndt Mueller.
