The Physics Department at Duke University seeks a Visiting Scholar. Candidate should have a PhD in Physics, with a specialty in theoretical condensed matter physics. He/she should be familiar with the theory of open quantum systems, the Kondo effect as realized in quantum dots, and matrix product state numerical techniques. The candidate should be able to collaborate with the experimental group of Prof. Gleb Finkelstein.
