The School of Computational Sciences at Korea Institute for Advanced Study is seeking outstanding faculty candidates for one full-time Professor position in one of the areas of Computational sciences.
The candidates are required to have doctorate degrees in the area of theory and computations of strongly correlated materials.
Applicants are expected to have demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and develop junior scientists including strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts and computational analyses to diverse audiences.
Faculty members are provided with annual salary in accordance with KIAS regulations and covered by Korean national health insurance. The initial appointment for the faculty position is from one to three years and is renewable for every up to seven years depending on overall research performance.
