YOUR TASKS
» You will be working on the project “The statistical mechanics of the interlacement point process” in the framework of the priority program SPP 2265 “Random geometric systems”. In particular, this will involve conducting research in probability theory, as well as actively contributing to the success of SPP 2265 (see https://spp2265.wias-berlin.de/).
» Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to enhance your teaching capabilities through a light teaching load of 90 minutes per week that comes with the position.
YOUR PROFILE
» You hold a PhD in mathematics, focusing on probability theory or a related area.
» German language skills are not mandatory at the very beginning, but soon thereafter a willingness to master the German language at basic teaching level is expected.
