The High Energy Theory Group in the Department of Physics, Pusan National University, South Korea seeks outstanding candidates to fill one or more postdoctoral positions in high energy theory.
The position starts from the 1st of March, 2022 but the starting date is negotiable.
The research group, funded by the national research foundation of South Korea, consists of four faculty members, Profs. Deog Ki Hong (PI), Kwang Sik Jeong, Dong-han Yeom at Pusan National University, and Prof. Min-Seok Seo at Korea National University of Education.
We encourage the applications from researchers with working experience in the topics of theoretical high energy physics, including the following subjects.
- BSM physics and particle phenomenology
- Dark matter, gravitational wave physics, and astroparticle physics
- String theory, quantum gravity, and quantum cosmology
- Inflation, early and late time cosmology
The initial contract is for two years and is renewable to another year (depending on research performances and the grant situation) with a salary comparable at the international level.
