The Department of Economics at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, seeks to hire at the rank of Lecturer (3 year appointment) or Senior Lecturer (5 year appointment), depending on qualifications. Renewal will also be based on performance and the needs of the department. Candidates must have received a Ph.D. by August 2023. English fluency is required. Significant experience teaching undergraduate students; evidence of ability to teach at the university level, oversee teaching assistants and internships, and develop and coordinate activities with other instructors.

Pay Ranges:

The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:

  • Prior relevant work or industry experience.
  • Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.
  • Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)
  • Unique applicable skills.
