Candidates for clinical faculty positions must have demonstrated high-level classroom performance, significant professional experience, the capability for publishing research related to the scholarship of teaching and learning and/or research related to professional practice, and an earned Ph.D. in Information Systems or related fields from an AACSB-accredited university or international equivalent. Ideal candidates will add to the teaching capabilities that include executive graduate programs (e.g., specialized masters programs) and online instruction. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching interests in the following areas: Cybersecurity, Digital Innovation, and Data Management and Analytics. ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT The CIS Department is consistently ranked as a top department both in terms of its programs and research. The department’s undergraduate program was recently ranked # 8 and its graduate program was ranked # 11 in the nation by US News & World Report. Additionally, the department consistently ranks among the best in the world in terms of research productivity based on publications in MIS Quarterly and Information Systems Research. The department faculty recently received a multi-million-dollar grant from the National Science Foundation for cybersecurity workforce preparation in the age of artificial intelligence.
