The High Energy Group of National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) and the Center for Theory and Computation (CTC) consisting of We-Fu Chang, Kingman Cheung, Chong-Sun Chu, Martin Spinrath and Poyan Tseng are planning to hire at least two postdocs. The position could start as early as April 2023.
The successful applicants should have a completed PhD in particle physics phenomenology, formal aspects of high energy physics or theoretical cosmology. Furthermore, they should have an excellent research record in one of the fields of neutrino physics, dark matter, collider physics, astroparticle physics, gravitational wave physics, quantum field theory or string theory. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates working on the interplay between these fields.
The position has an initial term of two years and can be extended, depending upon funding situation and mutual agreement. The search is open until the positions are filled. For a full consideration, please submit application materials by January 15, 2023.
NTHU is one of the leading research universities in Taiwan. Its campus is located in Hsinchu City, one of the centers for education and research in Taiwan. On the NTHU campus the CTC is located and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University is within walking distance.
