Position Description
Description Assistant Professor Ahmed Almheiri, of the Division of Science (Physics) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) and visitor at New York University New York (NYUNY), seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work in the field of theoretical physics, specifically on topics related to quantum gravity, string theory, and black holes. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics or related field. Applicants should have a strong track record of original research in the relevant topics. This is a 3-year position starting no later than September 2024. The successful candidate will spend the three academic years, 2024-2025, 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 at the Abu Dhabi campus.
