The Department of Computer Science at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, invites applications for a Lecturer position to begin Spring 2023.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses that fulfill requirements in our computer science major, computer science minor, and related degree programs. Courses taught can include those throughout the undergraduate computer science and data science programs depending on departmental needs and candidate interest. The successful candidate will be expected to assist in training undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in our curriculum, and supervising independent and team projects. Working with the Center for Computational Thinking at Duke, the successful candidate will also help design and deliver curricular as well as co-curricular content aimed at teaching computational thinking broadly as part of the liberal arts education experience at Duke.
